Hi!

See FAQ#8001 - "How to refresh grid properly after sorting". The approach there probably could be used in your case.

>Assume a form with a grid whose RecordSource is a cursor.
>
>With the FFC controls (at least my working copy of them), the current record in the table is displayed on the first row of the grid. If you are near teh top of a large cursor, no problem. If you are at the bottom, the grid looks bad due to the active row being row #1 and the current record being the last record.
>
>I would like to force the grid to locate the current record on the middle row of the grid or , if there are not enoght rows to fill the remaining rows of teh grid, place the current record further down to facilitate the filling of all rows.
>
>Bottom line: I do not want to have empty rows below the current record.
>
>Thanks for your advice.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
