Your ASP is using ADO to connect to DBFs via ODBC? (wow, those acronyms hurt!).

Have you tried the same ADO code interactively in VFP? I've found the error reporting to be much better and it's sometimes easier to pinpoint the offending statements and try variations interactively. Check the docs under AERROR() to see how to get the ODBC error messages.
