>>It's safe.:-) I started to write "...my wife and her..." and decided that for the grammer level of the UT, it'd be better to write "...she and my wife...". Slight typo.< See what happens when I don't have an editor checking my stuff...Dave??? Carl??? Tamar???... >< bg >

>"She and my wife" looks good to me. AFAIK, the only one that always goes at the end of such a list is yourself. So, "my wife and I" (or in my case, "my husband and I" - don't want to confuse anyone <g>) or, if it's the object instead of the subject, "my wife and me."

Tamar,

Well, where were you for the post that started this?:-)

BTW, on the topic of editors (talk about thread drift< bg >), I noted that Carl Warner has "retired" as the editor of the VFUG newsletter. The June issue (Building) lists Ed. as ???????. I know Carl had quit once before then changed his mind. Finally, he decided to make it final.

Having had the pleasure of working with Carl over the last year or so, I came to know a bit about the amount of time and effort that it took to put the newsletter together and on-line. I think that the entire Fox community owes him a large debt of gratitude for his selfless contribution to it.

Just my $0.02 (US)
