>Mark,
>the terminals I spoke of are AS/400 'dumb', green screen type terminals. I know VFP won't drive those terminals but the way they worked with the as/400 and applications written on the AS/400 is functionally what I want to accomplish. - Drive RF bar code readers from VFP or some interface / utility program running on a PC or NT server that can use the tables in an existing warehouse management system.

Michael,
Look at WaveLink at
www.wavelink.com , I am using this RF development product with VFP 6 with good success. They are "warming" to outside developers and you can download an evaluation copy of Wavelink. This is the only product I found that would allow development with VFP. It is "Symbol-centric", but as such supports almost all Symbol RF products and this allows the programs you develop to function on DOS, Palm, and CE RF handhelds without massive code changes. I have developed using a hardware system, but Wavelink includes an emulator to test your software without having a handheld, a server, and an RF access point. Let me know if I may be of any additional assistance.
