How to handle Jpeg and Gif files on reports

>I have an application that holds a path to pictures in a field (c:\pictures\mypic.jpg). This works fine on screen using the image object, but when it comes to reports the file option won't take an expression, it seems to need a literal filename. Nor will it handle a function returning a filename.

John,

Place a picture control on the report. Then, instead of entering a file name in the “Picture From File:” field, you enter the field name, surrounded by parenthesis as shown below:

(MyFile.MyPicture)

Note ... that if you are using FoxPro 2.x, this won't work. And if you are using a VFP version prior to VFP 6.0, you will be limited to BMPs. VFP 6.0 added JPG support.
