>>There will be at least three of us with acoustic guitars. Find Chris Jefferies, John Miller or me around there somewhere for the acoustic jam. I don't get in until Sunday, but Chris and John will be there tomorrow.

http://www.levelextreme.com/conferences/jam.aspYeah, that's the history of the loud electric jam sessions, not the more laid back acoustic one. We started our jam sessions when I ran into Chris Jefferies in the lobby of the hotel in Phoenix in '91 or '92. Chris had his guitar and every year since then we have held the acoustic jams. Sometimes they have been around a campfire, a fire ring in the hotel, or some out of the way corner, etc.
We are usually joined by several members of the fox team after midnight ( I guess that's when they come out)! We have dubbed ourselves Nerdvana, or three John's and a Chris and generally have a good time. The more a person has had to drink, the better we sound too!
