Thanks for your input. No, I have FoxFire but have not checked into Crystal Reports. However, I seem to see more
comments in this thread on Crystal than FoxFire. Wonder if that tells me something.

Do we know if this problem of multiple detail lines is addressed in VFP 7.0? I really does seem like a simple
reasonable thing to expect and is kind of frustrating that it is not dealt with at all except with special code-arounds.

Good hearing from you. I just made the leap from 2.6 to 6.0 last year and I spent the longest time wandering around
in a daze and feeling like a novice again. There came a day, however, when things started clicking and now
I am thrilled with using VFP. I feel like a caveman who has just discovered fire. Burned my first couple of meals, but
I am slowly learning how to cook properly.
