At the moment the app is based entirely on views, there isn't a great deal of updating going on, but the main thing is that each time the Parent record is moved, then there are a LOT of views that have to be requeried, the reason for this, is that the users wish to know if there is information in a certain area of the system.

I am thinking of scrapping the views, and using the tables, and perhaps checking for existence of information using INDEXSEEK.

There are around 15-20 users who can use the system, but there won't necessarily be that many using it at once - however, it does integrate with a Fox for Dos app through it's tables, so that app will be used by around 15-20 people as well.
