Grigore, the list server or such place as Universal Thread should not make any rules depended on the particular problem subject, I guess. This is a place where evryone can participate if want. And everone can get information if want without any participation. For example, I know people that read all messages at the UT but never send anything there. Do you think such people are doing something offencive? I don't think so. I think they learn and cannot answer questions thinking theyre too weak, or they just have no time.

Well, about acocunting.
I do not think all accountants are just do not want to post information there. Do you think all of them cooperate in this? I don't think so, if there are more than 10 of them. There should be another reason why they do not make posts.

The change in accounting is a serios thing. If changes are new, accountants have a lot of troubles with them too. Probably they have no time to help others spending weekends for their direct work. Helping in such area is a great responsibility also. After 2 weeks can usual accountant-programmer be sure he/she know everything about changes to help others? What if such help make mistake for somebody? Its $$$...

In your case, to help both programmers and accountants, find the goverment documents about changes and post them to everybody. Find links about these changes, some other resources. If you cannot do this, make a thread where everybody can send such information. Yet nobody know HOW to help. Let people find an information HOW to help first. Than you will see a progress.
