I was asked by my boss to see if I can write a VFP app that'll send and/or receive files to and from our IBM mainframe (MVS). The systems programmers were able to send a file from the mainframe via FTP to a directory on a NT 4.0 workstation running under Novell 5.0. FTP server is installed on the mainframe.

Since I have with no experience with FTP, I would like to know the following:

* Is is possible, with the help of VFP 5.0, to send and/or receive files via FTP? (I'm just about certain that it is).

* If so, what do I need (software/hardware) on the workstation side?

* What VFP or FTP commands should I or can I use?
