If you like summers with temperatures of about 70 - 75, and about 50 percent humidity, try San Diego. If you want it hot as HELL, try any of our deserts - Palm Springs , etc. Like Redwood Trees? We have those too - I love them! How about fog? Try San Francisco and the north coast through Eureka.

I've been to San Diego, Palm Springs, San Francisco and the Redwoods. I like San Diego best in that list, but housing costs totally rule out living there. As for driving distances, you can't beat flying into to SLC and having 7 resorts within a 45 minute drive. Also, Utah powder can't be beat.
