That would be HTML help which can be modifiable if the HTML files are not compiled into the .CHM file. However, the users have to edit an HTML document. Otherwise, you would have to modify the data-centric help system in use now. I used a similar method in my DOS apps as well, although I did not allow the users to modify the memo field where the help language resided. I see no reason why you can not do the same in VFP if you do not like the HTML Help path.
