Yes, it was. I tried it at home, but just was not patient... At work two first operations finished quite quickly. Therefore this confirms, that there is no 16MB limit in processing files with FileToStr. Still I'm happy with the solution I use for removing double quotes (and described here in FAQ), so I will just keep it in mind. Besides, we didn't find the limit and it seems to be dependand on the computer resources...
