Hi again Ken and fellow helpers,

I guess using an object makes more sense than renaming like fieldnames in several different tables. But no matter which way I go, I can't get around going into every control on every form and changing the ControlSource name from m.whatever to oTable1.whatever. And searching every form's code for m.references and changing them to oTable1.references. I learned my lesson. I am a buffering kinda guy and this SCATTER/GATHER stuff always turns out to be a pain in the you know what for me.

So now I know for next time. Thanks everyone for setting me straight! Somedays I feel like I am SCATTER-brained. Could this be an age issue or a beer (kills brain cells) drinking issue?!?
