Well I'm no expert on terminal server but I have set it up to run a VB client-server application on the PCs that were not fast enough to run the application.

Here's how it works:

You need to have at least win 3.1 running on your PC in order to connect to the server and the minute you open the session on the server, you are no longer using any ressources on your PC but rather the raw power of your server. It is also very usefull to use in remote location since it requires very little bandwith speed.

I suggest that you look on microsoft.com or on citrix.com, you should find the information you are looking for.
