From what I understand, Nope - I hope.

They should have killed DOS a long time ago. Sorry for being so blunt here, but the persistence of FoxDos apps has done damage to VFP from the perspective of developers lacking VFP skills in addition to Corporate IT's perception of FoxPro in general.

I have re-engineered a number of FoxDos apps to VFP for a few customers and I can tell you that their skeptical perception of TheFox changed dramatically.

Others may disagree, but I NOW believe that the decrease in the popularity of FoxPro has more to do with FoxDos developers not learning VFP than any lack of MS marketing.
