Hi,

I ran the upgrade check to verify whether my 11.92 Sybase install would be ready for upgrading. It gave a failure for disk space check. I have to add space to the master and model databases, but when I run an

"alter database master"

It reports that it cannot execute it because the master device and its log are full. Can you tell me how to raise 1 mb of free space to the master for me?


The following message appeared during the upgrade:


Dtabase master requries approx. 1 MB more free space
in order to be upgraded. Master dabase can only be
extended on the existing master device. If there is
not suficient free space on this device, try moving
any user dgtabases to another device.

Database model requries approximately 1 mb more free
space in order to be upgraded..

Database space checks failed.
