When configured, I have never had a problem sharing any of the files, including the classes. When checked out, the developer is actually working on a duplicate copy (providing the search path and other environment settings are consistent in the VFP options) If your search path is pointing to a single copy of a file, and one of the developers has exclusive set as ON, I imagine there could be some conflicts, but this is just a guess on my part, because I have not run across that problem.
