Hmmm.... I seem to recall some very basic beginnings in an article in FPA or VBA - but that was many years ago. I cannot find anything promising in their on-line databases.

Browsing their database shows a review of third party prodicts that will create a licensing scheme for you, Like SoftWrapper or Protection Plus. I have no experience with these solutions, tho.

No tricks to it - just devise a mathmatical puzzle using the numerical ASCII values that has several solutions for the same inputs. Store the client name AND the unlock code in an INI file (so it'll work easily on a network, and so it's easy to update when they buy additional user licenses).

Sounds like a good article idea for Code or FPA, eh?
