The view designer has several problems (all aknowledged by MS). I have seen ACCESS view designer have problems too. So it must be very very hard to create a stable view designer. I still use VFP's view designer, but I take it in baby steps. I have also used it for quit some time and know what it can handle and what it cant. Craig suggested Eview as an alternative. I also suggest making your views programmatically when the view designer fails. Then adding them to the DBC when you need to.
