I had a similar problem. I created a view with a subquery (programatically) and added it to the DBC. But when I tried to open it in the view designer, I got an error message: "SQL expression too complex". MSDN says that in this case VFP runs out of memory. :(
Gonna try eView, but I hope VFP7 provides a better view designer.
