Does ODBC to VFP table not respond the same way as VFP command window SQL or is ODBC interpreting the = as exactly equal and not starts with like VFP does in its SQL.

OIC! I do get the same results if I just query on the first letters of a string. That is I get no records. But, if I pass the complete string, I do get matches. Otherwise, I have to use LIKE operator.
