Luis,
Keypress gives the basic key code (the first column in the list in Inkey() Help) plus a second parameter that tells you if Ctrl, Alt or Shift has been pressed. Try some experiments - it might help.
Unfortunately, Windows does tend to override any application with those particular keystrokes!
