Just to satisfy my own curiosity, I've installed W95 on a 386SX with just 4M and it worked. It was somewhat slow :), but not quite unpleasant. Lots of speed was lost due to an ancient Trident 8800 VGA card - imagine bouncing cards leaving you enough time to visit the toilet and kitchen, but it worked. I used it to test FPW26 mainly, and it succeeded (though we dropped FPW completely within a month, foreseeing the upcome of VFP, and it came up as expected).
