I created a thread a while back on supplying default values in views (inherated from the table definition) and the problems it caused with "Save Changes" when attempting to cancel a new record without keyboard edits because MMortals sensed "new record with changes". Several MMortals users responded with good ideas and specific framework code to help this situation.

With MMortals Version 6.1 comming, is handling default values in this manner addressed and included in the release, meaning I should wait for it's availability, or if not, go ahead and create my own enhancements?
