Well, first of all find the MS article about _ASCIICOLS and _ASCIIROWS. Perhaps, it would solve your problem, if the report is simple enough.

If not, let me know, and I send you a program, which allows me to generate program for ouputing to ASCII file based on report. It still requires manual tweaking after it's created, but this is a start.
