To address this issue, we're planning to add, in the INIT of each control in our classes, a test. If the HelpContextID of the control is empty, assign the HelpContextID of the Form to the control's HelpContextID. I guess I was thinking of our solution rather than the language!

Containership is not necessarily predictable, but this might be a possible solution for you.
