After further investigation, it does appear to be print driver dependent. I couldn't think of any other way that VFP could implement COPIES=xxx without sending the report multiple times (and I know it doesn't do that...)
So, I added a print driver for our Epson DFX8000 (big dot matrix printer). Then, I tried to print a report to it (using standard print options dialog box), set copies to '3' and got the following dialog:
This printer cannot support this many copies.
Number of copies will be set to printer maximum of 1.
Anyway, this is almost useless trivia...I suppose (but I don't know) that most laser printers and ink jets support multiple copies. It does convince me to leave my print report routine the same (doing a loop to print multiple copies).

Do you regularly go to the monthly VFUG meetings downtown? I have been curious about going, and have wondered what the meetings are like and what kind of turnout there normally is.
