Hi!

The MSDN is a set of the CHM/CHI files that are viewed by special MS application. For example, in the shortcut created on my desktop I see following command to run:
D:\NTWS40\hh.exe D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\MSDN\2001JAN\1033\MSDN100.COL

You see from above both the location of the help runner and help files.

HTH.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
