look to following functions and take what is the best for you

? STRTRAN("THIS IS MY TEST","T","t")
? CHRTRAN("THIS IS MY TEST","TI","ti") && single character-to character only
? lower("THIS IS MY TEST") && there is also upper() function that does opposite
? proper("THIS IS MY TEST") && will be "This Is My Test"
