Hi!
VFP DLL is a COM object that do not allows any visual interface object and activity.
If you want to separate that module from all EXE files, provide ti, for example, as a VCX class library, PRG or even compiled PRG (FXP) file. VFP EXE can run external modules. This also could be as a separate EXE, but this is a bad case because a lot of problems related to the interoperability ebtween parent/child EXE runing in VFP.

It is included in every application, which makes the EXE’s bigger so it takes longer to update our customers via the modem. I have done a test, which puts the program in a DLL, but I get an error when I try to run it, the error is “User-interface operation is not allowed at this time”.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
