>A vast hord of PROFESSIONAL VFP progammers who supposedly exist ""out there" and do not know about UT IS a myth. If I were to guesstimate what percentage of VFP programmers (whose full time job is using VFP, not weekend warriors) use UT I would put it at over 90%. A little less than 30 thousand are registered with the UT.

Jerry;

I know about one hundred Visual FoxPro programmers in the San Francisco Bay Area. These are individuals who support themselves and families by using VFP. Out of all those that I know, I see one other person I know who is active on the U.T.

Who knows how many "active" VFP programmers there are. The number of sales of Visual Studio 6.0 mean nothing towards gaining such knowledge. Any other means of defining who is active seems impossible, unless you ingest mushrooms or other mind altering substances to gain knowledge unavailable to created intelligence.

Try checking how many people belong to the U.T., when they became members and when they were last active. I tried this the other day and found many people became members and have not been active since that day. In some cases this was one or more years ago. How many U.T. members are active? How many are supporting themselves using VFP? I have no idea.
