Actually, Bob, they were all fresh out of college 5-6 years ago.
What it comes down to is that you and I (and the other UTers) are more the deviant than the norm. Believe it or not!

>>>A vast hord of PROFESSIONAL VFP progammers who supposedly exist ""out there" and do not know about UT IS a myth. If I were to guesstimate what percentage of VFP programmers (whose full time job is using VFP, not weekend warriors) use UT I would put it at over 90%. A little less than 30 thousand are registered with the UT.

>>I think you are dead wrong here. My VERY small circle of VFP-types (approx. 10 people who I see only from time to time) has one of them appearing here irregularly and another appearing here rarely. 8 other have NEVER shown up here.

>>I've had occasion to ask a couple of them if they've heard of UT. Neither of them had and then offered that they wouldn't be interested anyways because FP/VFP is their 'day job' and they use the internet for leisure activities and e-mail only.

>>Also, 250,000 (more like 300,000 last I saw a number) comes from MS as the number of licenses out there. And we can be quite sure that not all developers using FP/VFP are actually using their *own* licensed copy or a 'legal' copy.
