>Ok, Alex I think your sugestion is a good one. Just one more help from you: how do I ask MS (there is a link to a VFP wishlist)? And, what do you think about openning a thread involving more people in such a discussion? By the way, what is your opinion about having strong data typing and structures in VFP?

>I'm aware this is a basic issue. Please take a look at a very simple start discussion I tried at http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~DataTypingInVFP~VFP, wich I thought could be an embryo for that, but unfortunatelly it didn't had enough quorum and couldn't go on further.Well, I see there is a lot of material in that Wiki document already for a good discussion. I do believe that strong typing would be good for VFP. ut it will break a lot of legacy code so it does not work if we want it to be backwards compatible as it has always been.
As per the wish list, as I said, I know that MS is listening. A document in the wiki for VFP8 as we did for VFP7 is not a bad idea.
