Cindy,
Usually within walking distance of many sites you can find a regular grocery store and stock up on sodas and so forth. Remember that regular folks live there too. <g>
>Bring your big insulated coffee mug so you can keep it filled from the water that is provided. You can also get extra coffee at breakfast in it.
>
>In Miami I bought a soda in a can from the machine next to the ice, and filled my mug with ice and soda and took it out to the pool. Cheaper than what the snack bar offered.

>>After spending a bit too much at Devcon, here are some tips for saving money:
>>- wake up in time for the free breakfast
>>- make the provided lunch your biggest meal of the day
>>- don't buy bottled water to carry around all day, there is water provided during the sessions
>>- consider holding a party in your room instead of drinking at the bar
>>- don't use your mini-bar
>>
>>Any others?
Best,
DD
