>As another alternative, if you have the whole VisualStudio and you know a little C/C++ it's very easy to wrap these kinds of calls with a C++ wrapper and just use it like a function call passing parameters from VFP. There's a couple of examples of creating C++ DLLs over on my website.

Thanks, David. This, sure, can be a good alternative. I've already wrapped some API calls, but inside VFP code (wininet, dynazip...), never did with C, maybe I musy try it (have to learn C first).

I think we should have this functionality (structs etc) as a standard VFP feature. VB is plenty of samples at MSDN and elsewhere using this kind of stuff. If we use to say VFP is better than VB (and I think it is), we can't lack the same functionality VB has in this field.

Backwards compatibility is great, but not with the early days of FoxPro DOS, forever. We cannot be so tightly chained to the past in order to block some welcome improvements. Of course that's is only my opinion.

Regards,

Fernando
