I have no clue what is going on there.

The source code for the Import Wizard comes with VFP. You can find it at: VFP98\Tools\xSource.ZIP Unzip this file and go to VFPSource\Wizards\WzImport You can probably debug it and see what is going on.

On the other side, you may want to try to import with DTS as John mentioned and see if you can just bypass the error there.
