Well, Ed, I think this is about the way I'd do it, with a slight
difference:
if nKeycode=4
nodefault
_cliptext=dtoc(date())
Keyb "{ctrl+v}"
endif
This way the date gets pasted there where the cursor is, and not at the
end of text. But then, using Keyb command is always a kludge - I'd
preferrably use some _ed* function from FoxTools.
