John:

Whilst I am mostly now working with VFP/Codemine, I have been singing this song for many MANY years - its still in the top two on my play-list <bg>.

My business has supported my family by stretching every ounce out of FPW 2.6 with Genscrnx, CEE, PTX, Xilights, TheFeel (remember that editor), Netlib 2.5, WinList, Fox2000 - its always put bread on the table (thanks Dr. Dave).

Why I have been using all of that combination today on my Laptop, dual booting between Win2000 for VFP and Win98 for my 2.6 maintenance work.

> know that two-six work ain't pretty,

I'll vouch for that!

>A Bee-Gees rewrite (and we all know folks like this).....

>(Staying Alive)

>Well you can tell me anything you want,
>I'm an old Fox hand, no time to talk
>You can laugh at the code I write
>but they don't know better at my client site.
>
>And it's alright,
>Ain't no shame
>I always have the LAN to blame.
>I could try
>To understand
>But I ain't no VFP man.
>
>You know that you're fading,
>When the whole world is upgrading,
>And you're staying alive, staying alive.
>The coders in the city
>know that two-six work ain't pretty,
>but you're staying alive, staying alive.
>@ SAY @ GET .. staying aliiiivvveee...
