One last trick I use to highlight a button is placing a shape over the button with it's drawmode property set to for example 9- mask pen & the backcolor green or something. The button underneath is still visible but in a different colour
As the button cannot be clicked again (in my case) there's no need for click transparency... but look in December 2000 Foxpro Advisor for Nik's ideas on this (and I suspect in files section as well).
