What types of problems are you having? We found that our shutdown timer was firing constantly and really made our set window jump around alot and drive us nuts. We changed the init routine of the shutdown timer to look for the existence of a text file and if it exists slow the timer way down. I don't remember any issues with the debugger though. Maybe you are talking about having to step out of the MM error routines to get back to the code where the error actually occurred. Then you can look at variables etc. Does that help?
