There may be a different product that you're talking about, but I know there is a product that actually works with a Palm handheld. The product I'm thinking of looks like an organizer. It opens and your Palm unit sits on the left with a notepad on the right. As you write on the notepad with a normal ink pen, the data you write is transmitted to your Palm unit.
