I have been able to duplicate this problem. If you look at the extended property from the Extended Properties page of the Database Explorer there is no problem but if you modify the table and look at the Field Props Page it does not fill in the proper value. Sorry about any inconvience this may have caused. I will pass this bug report on to Doug.
