I think we jokingly discussed in Orlando that incorrect answers would be given 3 anti-points (represented by little steaming dog turd symbols) and just a misleading answer would get 1 anti-point.

I don't have a problem with "trying" posts....often it'll get the posters brain working in the right direction.

A police officer would give you a ticket if you went through a stop-sign-controlled intersection without stopping. He'd also give you the ticket if you did what they call a rolling stop <g> (what I'd call TRYING to stop). The point is, you'd get the ticket for the actual infraction regardless of how much trying was involved.
