New in VFP 7 is a hotspot tracking propertity to buttons, which if you have not played with it yet. does some really nice stuff.
you can get a idea of what the propertity can do for you. by viewing this sample I put up.
http://www.1amsoftware.com/cmlogin.gif Another thought, is using the shape object, and creating actions to a shape,
http://www.1amsoftware.com/cmmain.gifOn this, I actually put the menu actions to the label on the shape, but I subclassed the lables, with a mousemove event, to turn the white color, whiter, when the user moves over it, and when they move to another selection, the white gets greyer.
Its a bit on the subtle side, But its not something I have seen before.(exectp for web applications) with the hover element.
Most users are very familar with web apps today, so what I was looking for was something that they could understand quickly.

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
