For setting the currency:

SET CURRENCY to 'f'

In Textbox:

Set FORMAT to $
Set InputMask to e.g. 99,999.99

Note that the currency symbol will use one of the digit markers, so 9999.99 will display as f9,999.99, but 99999.99 will display as 99,999.99

On the 'autodecimal' front, Vlad is (as always) right: you've got to code it!
