Hi,

I have a friend surgeon that asked me about softwares to store, and retrieve images, running on a PC (actually he and his team have a collection of 12,000+ slides, photographs, x-rays etc). Such software should have the capability to classify and index information about the images, and the images, in order to provide search functionality, picture acquisition and reproduction, cross reference data stored etc. Any suggestion?
