Believe me, I will not be submitting any future articles or tips to FPA. All the tips seem to fall on deaf ears.

My point in bringing all this up is that FoxPro Advisor is probably the only widely distributed monthly magazine focusing directly on VFP that can be picked up at a bookstore. Sure FoxTalk is also published monthly but have you ever seen it a Borders or Barnes and Knobles?

When FPA shrinks almost 50% in size, is it any wonder that people continue to think that VFP is dying? How hard can it be to copy and paste 10 lines of print revealing how a problem was solved?

Evan, I know that you have done some interesting interviews lately. About a year and half ago I suggested (via an associate) that FPA consider publishing a monthly series that would be interviews with well-known VFP gurus. There was never a response from FPA - again it fell on deaf ears. Was it a good idea or bad and why?

As a reader wouldn't it be interesting to see what makes people like
Steven Black, Markus Egger, Rick Strahl, Jim Booth, Kevin McNeish, Doug Hennig, etc.. tick? Wouldn't you like to know what these experts see as the next big technology you should learn or things that are likely to be fads and why? This could all be done over a 30 minute telephone conversation and the transcripts could be easily put to print.

I do hope that FPA improves - it does have an image that like it or not reflects on the rest of the VFP community...

>>Or submit them to Whil at FoxTalk or Markus at CoDe for publication?
