I think that those that schedule such events have gotten the point. In turn, I hope those who consider such holidays as holy better understand the hassle that goes into scheduling a conference (not to say all of the work that many of us will never know that goes into it). At this stage, you're probably just annoying one of the best advocates of your choice development platform(s). This is bad form.
