The relationship doesn't take effect until the parent table is selected. You can verify this at the command window by opening two likely tables, browsing them and then performing the set relation. The child table doesn't "filter" until you've set focus to the parent table. Your grid's working the same way.

After the relationship's been set, try MyGrid.SetFocus()
